What is Tafwyl?
It’s a two day free festival with Welsh language music, arts and culture for young people and adults to get involved with. There were food and drink stalls, other charities with their own tents full of activities and various different stages with performers. There was something for everyone, even if you aren’t a welsh speaker yourself.
AND PLATFFORM WAS THERE!
Platfform4yp teamed up with Cardiff Youth Services, Menter Caerdydd and the Urdd to create a full weekend of fun for young people. In our tent we had a wellbeing space where young people can create positive envelope making, bracelet making, colouring and a give away wheel.
There was a great turn out across the whole event, especially with our tent. The children really enjoyed all the creative activities we had set up and they loved to spin the wheel, especially all the sweets that they were able to win. There was a friendly atmosphere and overall it was a successful weekend.
