Mud, Sweat and Tears is an autobiography of Bear Grylls. Within this book, you’ll find out what adventures that he went on, the time when he went on the SAS selection and the time he had a parachuting accident.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book as I am a fan of Bear Grylls and I also like to take part in similar activities that he does. I am a very active person so I found it very interesting to get an insight of how things are done properly by the master of adventure, himself.

As it is an autobiography, it is different to what I normally read, but the way it was written kept me intrigued. Also, it was written in first person which made it feel like I was more connected with him and what he went through with his life experiences.

Within this autobiography, they have placed photos of Bear Grylls doing different activities at various intervals throughout the book. I like this touch to the book as it makes it more personal and allows people to get more of an insight to what he does. As well as this, it breaks up the read which makes it even more entertaining for me when I read it.

Overall, it made me want to go on more adventures in my life and I’ve learnt that I should take every chance that I get to enjoy my life.
