What is an Eisteddfod?
An Eisteddfod is a festival that is celebrated in Wales that focuses on music, poetry and other performing arts. The first documented Eisteddfod happened in 1176 at Cardigan Castle, organised by Rhys ap Gruffydd who was the prince of Deheubarth.
