In collaboration with the NSPCC, the Children’s Online Safety Project is a nationwide youth engagement and amplification project with the aim to discuss online experiences and safety with young people from all across Wales, in the hopes of influencing decision makers and those responsible for legislating online safety.
What does it do?
The project holds engagement workshops with young people in schools and communities groups wherein they can discuss their opinions and experiences with online safety, and what they think can be changed to make it better.
An online advisory group of 11-18 year olds meets regularly to share thoughts and ideas, and helps the project workers decide on the direction and progress of the project.
How do I get involved?
Young people interested in joining the Online Safety Advisory Group can contact youngpeople@platfform.org to find out more.
