What can go wrong with a diary?

It’s somewhere you can put all your personal thoughts down without worrying about the outside world. Especially in a time like this as we are in the unknown. So having somewhere, where you can take your mind somewhere else can help you cope with difficult situations.

Why do I write a diary?

I have also started writing a diary as I wanted to document what I was doing at such a time. It has helped me keep track of what I am doing and gave me something to do. As well as this, in the future, I can look back on my past and remember what I did with my time.

Why should you too?

Writing a diary has many different positive aspects to it. By writing, it sparks your imagination, decreases stress, and helps you to self-reflect. The amount of words you write is totally up to you. You can write as much as you want or as little as you want but no matter the amount, it’s something that you should feel proud of.

Just by putting words down on paper or even in the notes of your phone, it changes the way you think about a bad situation. This makes room for positive thoughts.

Do it for you!

You shouldn’t feel ashamed of having a diary, just because your friends think it’s not cool. If you want to start, just do it and set goals that you can feel accomplishment from. It is something that you can completely be honest with.
